Which ones better for a high handicap? longer? more forgiving?
in short.. which set should i buy?
also ive been told that the shafts on the Wilsons are abnormally long, well im only 5ft9 so really dont need longer shafts. Is this true?

Don't buy anything Wilson. The company is not what it used to be. Remember, Mizuno's slogan is The #1 Iron in Golf, and although that may or may not be true, the MX-19 or MX950 is much better than any Wilson product. Wilson was the #1 in golf in the 1970's maybe. Regarding length of clubs, check with Wilson's website to get their specs and compare them to MizunoGolf's website for club length. Any company can customize length and lie for you. Just call the companies (their 1-800 #'s should be listed on their websites) or email them by visiting their websites. Depending on your body type, arm length, torso length, hand size, setup, etc., you may need something 1/2 to 1 degree flat of standard regarding your lie.
There really is no standard in much of any equipment these days. Lofts vary in all clubs. Don't believe me? The average Pitching Wedge on a set of irons used to be 48 degrees of loft as little as 5 years ago. Nowadays, most PW's have a loft of 44 to 46 degrees of loft. So numbers mean nothing unless they are in degrees of loft. Drivers are getting longer too. The average driver 15 years ago was 43 inches. Five years ago it was 45 inches (because of graphite shafts). Now, who knows? There's such a push for major manufacturers to be the longest drivers in the game. The one thing they won't tell you is, lots of these drivers are 45 1/2 and 46 inches long. For every driver inch added, you get about an additional 5-7 yards potentially (you also get more inconsistency, too). Good luck in your shopping.
